not heard back from you really on the session so have had to think about these thing myself. Below is how Tuesday’s session will loosely flow;
We will do some brief introductions to one another and some background on how the session came about. What we are excited about?
I will then just share some thoughts and examples of infographics, ways they are being used, and why?
We will then just set the scene around one of the projects we are currently working on, the data that will be collected etc.
It will then pretty much be over to you. We will split into two groups, and over the rest of the time you will work in your groups concepting ideas for how this data can be used in interesting ways. We will have some data for you to use, and different materials to generate ideas and refine concepts.
By the end of the session we will ask you to come back together and share your process and ideas. We will also have a talk around how we see the use of visual data might be used within the council, how important we think it is, if that challenges some assumptions around roles, and if we want to do more going forward.

The spending over £500 data could make our own ”million-pound-a-gram” and the health data in the JSNA pages on Surreyi is really interesting – we could create something that helps people understand some of the health issues in the county.
